A SURE Foundation!

PAINT is UP (mostly), CARPET is DOWN!!!!!

I will post pics tomorrow of my very FIRST before and afters (just the basics y'all...haven't quite reached the decor stage yet)!

But for now, I will share with you something very special.

Fallen Off the Planet

I haven't fallen off of the planet.

I am here.

Struggling.

Why? because instead of decorating and having all the fun I was dreaming about, I've been cleaning.

A lot.

Because the house was NOT cleaned, I surmise AT ALL, in the last 25 years. Not even a little wipe of the pantry shelf to get the papery onion peels off.

NOTHING.

Weeks later, TSP and Fantastik have become our greatest allies.

Good news is, we've made lots of headway, and we're getting the carpet in this weekend! Ceilings are almost done being painted. Paint has been purchased (along with carpet, kitchen sink, faucet, two toilets, new blinds, grass seed, bar stools, bedding....just getting started). So, with all the dirty work taken care of....

LET THE FUN BEGIN!

Well, this pretty much sums it up about now. We move on Friday! YEAH!

9 days (or less) and Counting!

9 days til the big move! Everything has gone through, however, so at this point it may be a little sooner than we thought.
